Humanities Web Blog
I've just recently started a new resource weblog where I will be posting various online resources and information about the humanities. I found that I was coming across many wonderful online collections and thought they deserved a home of their own. The new blog is called Humanities Web.

Literary Buffalo Website
There is a new website in Buffalo, for local literary events and organizations. When you click on the link for each organization it gives the calendar of upcoming events. Just Buffalo Literary Center has open poetry readings every week. If you're a poet/writer, you can just show up, sign up to read, and read.

Author Alan Zweibel at the AKAG
I was just looking up info on local activities and found out that Alan Zweibel, who has written the children's book "Our Tree Named Steve", is scheduled to read at the Albright Knox Art Gallery on Friday, May 27th at 5pm. It's part of the Gusto at the Gallery series that's been going on all year long. This is a free series and is kid friendly.
